The circuit protection of the LCD module is as follows:
Solution:

Design Description:
Protection application:
Generally, the data transmission rate of the LCD module is less than 20 Mbps, so a protective device with a capacitance less than 40 pF can be used. There is ESD electrical hazard.
The solution shows that:
Left (a) shows, using discrete MLCV, so flexible layout. However, for the first consideration of reducing the number of products or saving circuit board space, it is recommended to use a transient suppression diode array.
Supporting solutions:
In addition to the above recommendations, Ruilon‘s MLV product portfolio also provides other solutions. For example, if the speed of data transmission is faster (>200 Mbps), it is suggested that the PulseGuard device be used to ensure the integrity of the signal.
Regulatory issues:
IEC 61000-4-2 is the most suitable standard for this interface. The test can prove that the terminal product is not vulnerable to ESD.
